This is a shot in the dark but the wife said to give it a try. 2004 f150,,Found this rubber part laying on the passenger floor mat. Put tooth pick under it for size. It has two holes in it, one hole has a plastic cap that looks like a screw/bolt end protector and the other hole has a rubber insert that looks like it plugs into something. I can't find anywhere underneath dash where it would of fell off to reattach it. Thought just by chance that maybe one of the guys that ripped apart their dash might of ran into it. Taking trk to dealer for oil change and will ask them. They will probably just throw it away. Any ideas ? thanks

That's what it looks like to me... the part that your glove box rests on when open.

 

Yep, that's what it is. I just checked mine. It goes on the right side of the glove box. Should just push back into place.
