JUST GOT MY EDGE....Now what?

Just got my edge tuner.

Should I check for new updates?

Upload the level 3 and run like hell?

Or, should I start with level 1 and work my way up gradually?

I know some of these questions might have answered on other threads a million times, but opinions on these topics change everyday. Would like to get yours now.

Thanks,

I'll answer, since I just went through it all. However, you didn't mention what gas you have in the tank?

Step 1: Install to PC, check for updates. Chances are, you will need an update or two.
Step 2: Install to your truck with tune 1 or tune 2. I recommend running for a day or two on tune 2 to allow your truck to get adjusted.

Don't move to tune 3 until you have a full tank of premium.

Thanks for the info. Where I can get the cable for the computer to tuner hook up? (Still have half a tank of 87 octane. I live in florida which has 93 octane, how much higher can I up the timing?)

Thanks,

The cable should be have come with your Edge, if not, call them. I just received mine last week and I concur with the above post if you are running 87 octane. I would skip level one and go staight to level 2 if you are running 87. If you are low on fuel and want to, there is no problem with filling up with 93 and going straight to level 3.
