there are holes back there, and they're in odd spaces, some are there for no reason. they're in the tailgate too. Styx, i was thinkin about a set of turn signals like the BMW Z4, how they have them behind the emblem somehow.

the stock emblems have tape over the whole area, but only grab the badges around the perimeter because they're hollow. Billet badges cutom badges are solid and grab the whole thing with VHB tape.

They would look horrible, in my opinion.

Might as well add those bug-eyed halo headlights and some altezza tail lights while you're at it.

BUT anyway, yes, there are holes behind where it mounts. You would need to fill/cover and paint over for the clean look.

styxnpicks-

If you are blacking out everything, you could get billet aluminum badges made and have them anodized black, or any other color for that matter.
I've been thinking about billet badges since my stock ones atarted to lose the paint after only 6 months. The dealer wants to replace them but I don't trust them working on the body.

I just want them smaller and less blingy. kinda like the little ford emblem I have up front that every one hates but i like. I would shave them but the price of body work keeps me away and every body work project ive done turns out like ***

Well it did make getting my LT badges level pretty easy!

Funny thing is the LT reflectors and tailgate center have alinement pins on them as well (I just cut mine off)....so a LT tailgate would look like swiss cheese.
