alright, is it me??

am i an idiot? I recently bought a pair of the sylvania silverstar turn signals for the front. I thought they were clear, or a chrome finish?? when i got them they have a blue/purple look to them when in the housing? is that the way its supposed to be or did i not look hard enough for the correct bulb?

Ive bought many pairs in the past. I guess they look that way. When I look at my explorer in the driveway, the lenses look rainbow colored because of the bulbs. I didnt know they had silverstars out for the f150 now.

THESE are what you want if you don't want the blue look.
The part stores around here don't carry these.

Yup, they're supposed to be blue.

Just pick up some cheap ones on Ebay!

well if they are supposed to be blue, then thats alright. I was afraid i might have gotten the wrong ones. the only other question i have would be. . I run the fog lights all the time ( headlights suck, mine seem extra dim), so would it be wise to get the 9005's, or the direct replacement silverstars??

I run the Cool Blues in the Fogs. Haven't had a problem yet, so I don't suspect the Silverstars will be a problem either.
