So you did fall for the marketing scheme?

 

If this product's only advantage is to give 5 hp (which "techically" how does it do that?), then I still fail to see the bonus. I have driven vehicles to 250-300K on just dino oil without any problems (2 bucks a quart). Change it every 4K regardless of how I drove it, and it was fine. Once the sythetic trend was in full swing, I jumped on that (4-5 bucks a quart). I can see the advantage of a synthetic that was created out of a flask with the skills of a chemist. There is no dirt of any kind to start with, that has to be better than the dino kind. I have read about many additives like molybdenum disulfide (used on rifle bullets), silicone oils, lithium type greases, and others (6-15 bucks a quart) with very little hard evidence to say "hey I'm better." I'll stick to the Motorcraft products, as I believe that this truck will go 200-300K with regular changes and good general maintainance.
