Back From BFE Camping Trip - PICS of Truck Tent
Anyone have one of these tents and used it multiple times with no trouble? I mean does it still shed water after 10-15 set ups and take downs?
Might have to put one of these baby's on my Christmas list!!!

Well, Ive used this tent 5 times so far... Probably about 2 weeks of use during that time. I have been in the wind and rain with this thing and its been solid and dry. I had to put it up in the middle of the night once, and its not that easy unless you've done it a few times. There are about 9 poles total; 2 main poles, 1 interior pole that runs front to back, a shortie on top parallel with the axle, 1 over the door, 2 for the awning, and 2 to hold the awning up off the ground. These are all color coded to colors around the places they slide into. Once you figure that out its easier.
I have slept with my dog (lab) once, and with my girlfriend the rest of the time. We have enough space for a full size bed, with enough space to put our shoes at the foot of the bed on the floor. I would suggest a towel folded up at the door of the tent because your knees will get tired of climbing in. Also a mat or something so you dont get crap from your shoes in the tent.
Its got a window on both sides with a screen, a screen on the front door, and screen windows in the top. There is a rainfly that covers most of the tent, and the design has the outer edges hanging over the edge of the truck bed so water doesnt go into the bed ever, if its set up right. There is also a sewn-in floor that keeps you a little warmer and dry I suppose.
I purchased a fan with LED lights at walmart and it hangs from the top of the interior. I would spend the $20 on this again for sure. Hope this helps.
