Saleen supercharger?
Any one know if you'll be able to buy it seperate and have a shop install it?
|
thought u were lifting? haha
|
I am. I was thinking if I lift there will be power loss, am i correct? Well whats better way to get back that power than with a supercharger(aside from straping a jet engine on the bed)
|
i wish i had the money to do that :)......id get the Kenne Bell
http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...-navigator.htm with intercooler or whipple |
One thing to definitely consider is gearing the rear for the extra grunt of a SC after lifting. The tranny will not last at all if you don't help it out with gearing with the extra weight of the lift and wheel/tire.
|
It will be available for purchase seperately, I can't remember if a price was mentioned but I know it's going to be well over 5k. Kenne Bell's is not out yet for the 3v.

im very sure it is josiah.....i saw it in my truckin magazine on our truck....i could somehow be wrong though

As for the KB, as AnaheimDrew said, they have a prototype but it is still very much in the R&D stages right now. As for Saleen, I always thought of him as more show than go. His shop isn't too far from where I grew up and I know lots of people that worked there (even my fiance) and they have some horror stories about the production quality. If I had the means and justification I'd go with the Whipple. Now there's a charger for you!  |
