20's or 22's w/ 35's
I have a 2wd and am about to lift it. I am trying to decide if i should go w/ 20's or 22's. I am going w/ nitto terra grapplers either way. But they do make a LT325/50R22 Which if i am analyzing correctly will come out to having a similar look as a 20inch wheel w/ a 33inch tire. Like what the new king ranch f250's have on them. Need some input and would really like some pics. :help:

either.....if ur going to put 22's on..lower the truck and put smaller tires on

i love me some 22s :D

I'd say do 20s with those tires, otherwise do 22s on Toyo Open Country 37s. I think if you do 22s with those tires, it'll just look like you lifted a truck and put big wheels and street tires on it. I was going to do it too but came to that conclusion. :beers:

It's all a matter of personal preference. In my option, I would not go with an off road style tire smaller than 35 inches on a set of 20's. However, for some reason 37's on 22's look to small to me. Now a set of 40's on 22's look awesome!

I would go with the 22's

35's on 20's gives you around 7.5" of sidewall and 35's on 22's gives you around 6.5" of side wall. IMO the larger sidewall on lifted trucks looks 100 time better than a huge rim with little sidewall. And a larger sidewall is better offroading.
So if you are going to be a pavement pounder go with 22's, if you are going to some offroading go with 20's or even 18's |
I think 18 inch rims look the absolute best with 35's. But thats me. I may get some black 20's and wrap them in 35's in the future to have 2 sets of rims and tires for whatever mood I am in.

im generally stayin on road. Every once in a while will go offroad but its not for fun, just like to cut through a pasture at a friends house or pull up over a curb into a grass lot or something. I have a picture of 20's on 33's that would be pretty much the same amount of tire just w/ a bigger wheel in it. Just cant get the pic to load (sorry im a noob). Will keep trying

I would go with the 20's man, they look great with 35's.. If I were to do it again, it would be 35's on 20's....
