Going back to stock rims...

OK, you guys convinced me that after lowering my 4x4 SCrew that the tires look funny sticking out (3/4") of the wheel wells, so I am going to have my stock XLT rims painted to match my truck tomorrow and will be installing them Monday.
I will be putting the Mickey Thompson Classic2's (17x9 with 4.5 BS) in the Classifieds I guess along with the 295/70/17 Nittos.
The more I looked at it the worse it looked after being lowered.
Thanks for the input....

Oh man... You caved to the pressure!!! hehe

Are you having the entire rim painted? Or, just the inserts (if there are inserts)?

Can't wait to see it!

Keep the rims. Just raise it back up to at least normal level.

Sounds as if you were already leaning that direction. I think the wheels on it look just fine. I like the way the truck looks and I like the extra rubber.

I like how it looks. I don't see the logic in lowering a 4x4, but it sure looks nice. Has a beefy look to it. Putting the stock rims back on it will make it look like a stock truck with a load of sand in it. Right now it looks fast.
