Major door squeak fixed - ahh

Nice day out today, so I tackled something that's been bothering me. The drivers side door has had a squeak for the past few weeks, right along the rear-most edge (near the back door).

I gently pried on the door panel enough to slip in some foam padding between the plastic and the door sheetmetal. Now, she's nice and quiet.

Great--it's a relief to fix things like that.

WD-40 is another method to fix plastic from squeaking against the door panel without having to pray on the door panel and stuffing it. One time spray has lasted me over 6 months at times.

Yes, or silicone spray

which doesn't eat plastic. That's usually a last resort for me though since I don't want stuff dripping down all over the carpet, etc!

My freakin' tailgate is squeaking on the pass. side. Driving me nuts! I'll probably try some wd40 and then some rubber foam strips to make the tailgate tighter against the body.

P.S.-Sorry about the hijack.
