Show me some pictures please....

Hello all of my fellow F-150 brothers!!!

I have 2005 Scab F-150 XLT Flareside (Silver).

I am interested in buying a Ford Low Profile Bug Shield and some Factory Splash guards with the Ford logo on them.

If any of you have them, would please be so kind and show some pictures of how they look on your trucks?

Can you show pictures of the bug shield NOT touching your hood at all?

Thanks guys! I look forward to see the pics! Have a nice day and weekend!

that's the only pic I have of my bugshield. I don't have any pics of it not touching the hood. It installs in between the hood and the grill and then there are two metal tabs that hold the ends of the bugshield in place. They give you some 3M protective things (forget what they're called) to put on your hood before you put the tabs on. So far no problems. I hope that helps. If you need more pics let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks guys!

I have seen some factory low profile ones where they come out from underneath the hood and wrap around to where they do not touch the hood at all.

Any splash guards?

this is the factory one (the one with the grey F 150 logo on the drivers side)- theres about 2" of plastic bolted to the inside of the hood that then wraps around the top- i suppose you could not install the clips, but then, at 80 mph down the highway, the guard is rubbing full contact with the hood...thats all the clips do is retain the positioning for driving-
