305/65-18

I heard that Cooper and I think BFG are both coming out with a 305/65-18. Has anyone found this size of tire yet?

I thought they were 315 and I read somewhere here about a September timeframe.

I found the 285x65x18, one step above stock for the 18" rims. Seen a few trucks with these and wish for a 295. I think anything in the 305 and up and I will loose performance but they sure look good!

I think that the 305's would be as wide as I would want to go on the stock rims.

Does anyone besides BFG make a 285/65-18?

I see that size in a BFG All-Terrain listed in 4Wheel Parts new catalog for fall of 2006. Measures 33.7 tall with no section width or price listed. Local dealer says they should be available towards the end of July depending on availability.

I hope I can make it until then. I have 42k+ on the OEM tires and I drive ~2k per month so maybe.....

I'm running a 295 tire on a stock rim... no issues. I'd like to run a 305..

My options are really limited with these 18" wheels.
