Stuck injector

Has anyone had this problem? We had one here at work hydrolock the engine because of it. Luckly the customer was still under warranty. It bent a rod.

Yep. I have heard of a few that have been unlucky enough to experience this problem. No rhyme or reason, one in a couple thousand stick open. Good to hear the warranty.

I've replaced a grip of 'em for misfires. Fortunately haven't had any that stuck wide open and damaged the engine yet.

I had one stick on me at about 3500 miles after having the cruise on at 70 mph for a couple of hours. I hit the exit off the interstate and truck started shaking, and the CEL came on. Luckily there was a dealer about a 1/2 mile down the road. Pulled in and a few hours later I was back on the road with a new injector, 8 plugs, and a fresh oil change. Thank god for a warranty. guessing if I would have had to drive farther I would have ruined the motor or at least bent a rod. Been fine ever since.
