Steeda F150 - Pics

Here are some pics of a "Steeda" F150 that Ford had on display at the Atlanta Int Auto Show. The hood was closed so I don't know what performance mods it had...but as you can see in the pics its lowered and has 22in rims. It was a very nice looking truck!

I like Steeda and they have made great products over the years but why the he!! would they use an F-150 with that box on it. All they did was take the ugly bed hooks off and put even uglier billet plates on them.

Actually, I remember some time ago on another board Steeda posted pics during the build and asked advice on what to do to it. I know it is supercharged, and not 100% sure, but pretty sure it was a Roush supercharger.

Man that red looks sexy...

Well on top of that the fender vents are fake...they are just inserts that are not open.

This LT looks much better IMO. Its some aftermarket pacakge available through Lincoln dealers and is supposed to have 500HP but the Lincoln guy was dumb as a stump and when I questioned him as to how it came about having 500HP he said it was "TUNED". I said what do you mean...is it supercharged? He said he didn't know. I asked if he could raise the hood so I could see and he said "You will have to buy one to find out whats under there!" Anyway it looks good:

I think if they were going to go with red and black seats.....they should have gotten one with black interior. They grey steering wheel and seat belts look out of place. I also agree with roushlimited on the bed hook covers.........I actually think the bed hooks would look better.

Although it is hard tell in the pick, I think the front valence would look better if the grille material was the same as the other two grilles.

Yeah...I actually pointed that out to the salesman after he said that the bumper and fogs were special for that package. The bumper is certainly just an 04-05 bumper.

Oh yeah and he said there was $10K worth of tires and rims on it.....I guess those are Lincoln prices because mine only cost me $5K.

Wow, I'm getting irritated just hearing about this guy. There should be a course or at least prerequisites you have to have in order to be a Salesmen, other than a high school degree. Salesmen have no clue what they're selling nor advertising.

I have his card right here...believe it or not his name on his card is Norm "Uncle Normie" Gibson! I chit you not! He actually is a salesman for Spartan Lincoln Mercury in Atlanta...so he doesn't work for Corporate like the Ford guy I talked to. I can see him being a car salesman because he would certainly be able to sell Lincolns to "a certain demographic" down here in GA, but his actual knowledge of the vehicles he is selling was dismal.

I love sleazy, stupid salesmen!

That Steeda and the LT are both sick looking. I wonder if the salesman can verify that once you hit 88 MPH in the LT you go back in time.

I love how the nose on the "Steeda" F150 is so smooth. The billet upper and lower have been integrated perfectly.

you really dont like the look of the tie down deletes? I like them more then the tie downs. Maybe to much contrast for you? I bed if they were painted to match the truck you would like them more. If you sold the truck and the new owners had a chuppy for tie downs you can just swap them out. I have a Silver truck so maybe the contrast would/will not be so bad but I would still probably get them painted for a smoother blent in look but thats me. Peace.

Your correct the last pics I saw of it there was a Roush SC under the hood. Not some mystical beast but a little extra umpf. I dont think under the hood got pimped out. More go then show I believe.

No Im just not a fan of that box or the tie downs IMO it makes the truck look very cheap. I think it would have looked a million times better with a normal box or at least a flareside box without the hooks. But hey to each his own I guess, I'm sure there's plenty of people that will buy em.
