Intake QUESTION

I was thinking about putting my stock intake back on, had an airraid and was getting a code. I all ready am getting the updated pipe shipped to me but this is what I wanted to know. How is the big plastic Stock assembly connected to the throttle body? It seems like there should be a piece of rubber or something inbetween the factory pipe and the throttle body. I can't remember exactly and I do not have another new f150 around here I can look at.

Thanks

Adam

5.4 or 4.6? In the case of the 5.4, the stock airbox is sealed to the TB by a rubber gasket that slip fits w/o a clamp. The airbox is secured by four bolts into the manifold.
