Slip Yoke?

So after 30,000 miles i started to get the 1,2 shift clunk, so a grab some grease get under my truck to lube the slip yoke in the drive shaft and it doesnt exist. This is about my 7th ford truck from rangers to F-250/350's. They have all had 2 peice drive shafts, what the hell is with this truck. Why is the slip yoke in this truck(meaning my particular one) in the tranfer case like junker Jeep. I've seen pictures on here of the little rubber boot to pull back and grease inside of. What is with my truck?

I can't imagine it's causing a clunk. I had to grease mine up after having it rebalanced but I don't know what you mean about it being inside the tcase.

My first F150 was a 78. I have had 7 others since then. None had a 2 piece drive shaft.

I think he's talking about the separate slip yoke on the driveshaft that isn't part of the transfer case. I'm pretty sure my 1979 f150 4x4 had slip yokes front and back.
