I've got a flowmaster welded in place of the stock muffler. There is no way I would get a polished tip. I live on a gravel road and the rocks would eat that thing up.

And that is why I run AT tires with good wet traction ratings instead of mud tires now.

I took a little unplanned offroad trip in my last truck after locking the brakes on wet pavement to avoid a collision with a deer. It put my wife and I into a fencerow high centered on an old dozer pile with about $2k worth of damage.

I put a set of AT's on it as soon as it came out of the body shop and have run them ever since. Those bigger lugs and different rubber compound of mud tires just don't grip well on wet pavement. I've got a set of Michelins on this one instead of the junk Generals that came on it.

Glad you're okay and there wasn't any more damage than there was. That one had the potential to do a whole lot of damage.

From the pics, looks like you wrecked in front of the only house for miles.

Glad you and the truck are ok.

Glad you and your truck made it out OK. Pretty scary to think of what could have happened.

You are right, that is a sharp curve. Glad to see everything turned out OK. Bet you'll slow down next time.

It doesn't look nearly as simple and clean now, does it?

I hate when I see people who put stickers on the paint unless its like an advertisement for a business.

It's a kobalt. If you have a supercrew I wouldnt reccomend it though. I had to cuy out a little piece of the corners because they were hitting the wheel wells. If you have a 6.5 bed it should be ok though. And as far as the stickers go, I just like stickers. To each his own I guess.
ANd the curve you see in the pic isnt the curve I went around. The curve is on the other side of the road but it's about the same angle of a curve. I turned a 180 and hit it.
