After reading lots of posts, is the Edge worth it?

I just need to know if the Edge is really worth it for an 06 screw? I guess what I am trying to do is justify the cost / gains issue I am having. Hopefully some of you can chime in. I have read so many posts on it I think I confused myself more.
I usually drive around 15 miles one way to work and it has only 2 stops between my house and work. I do like the way the pod mounts and matches everything with a little paint.

Thanks for any advice.

I think it's more than worth it and all I did with it was load a stock Level 2 and put it back in the box. Costs around 1% the total cost of the truck and gives you lots of options AND power! Heck if you buy it and hate it you can most likely sell it minus a couple "try out" bucks.

Is it worth what?

As a BBQ grill, it ain't worth a thing.

As a tuner, it's worth every penny.

What's the question?

The Edge is the best thing that I have bought for my truck. I love having the gauges. I tow trailers quite a bit, so just knowing whats going on with the temps was the biggest seller for my. Plus that extra power is great!!

I just fueled my truck up this week. 33.4 gals @ $2.95/gal for 92 octane total $98.53, 518.4 miles on that tank 15.52 miles/gal. I think that is pretty good for running big tires and also towing 13,000 lbs of about 50 miles (on lvl2) on that tank of gas.

I've owned two tuners, DP and SC. Both were well worth having.
I think any of the tuners on the market are worthwhile.

The Edge looks very good because it also adds the instant mileage feature, a real plus now.

Gauges are a great addition to the cab... I run monitoring Engine Oil Temp, Cylinder Head Temp and Trans Oil Temp... and instantaneous fuel economy.. Probably worth the cost of admission.

As far as the performance... My wife had to use my truck the other day and she went on and on about how 'touchy' the gas pedal was.... ... she said I don't remember that truck being so peppy.. and it was on level 2...

BTW, I'm seeing about 8% increase in long term fuel economy... Sold yet?

Jack
