got my leaky 2004 back today!

well i got my truck back after 10 days. it was the 3rd brake light. a 5 minute do it yourselfer turned into 10 days for the body shop. they shamppo'd the carpet and seat stains. told me nothing about what they found (rust, mold). i drove it 20 minutes back to home (the dealer in my town sucks worse). it was hot so i hit the front driver window button and BAM!! down went my window into the door! it sounded like it hit hard and cracked. i took it back and he said it sounded like a broken cable. i give up who knows how long that will take. i have bumper to bumper and i was never offered a ride or a loaner. thanks ford

plus they put some burn marks on my 2004 expedition plastic part of thebumper.

Sounds like we go to the same dealer. Changing the oil is an overnight deal.

i hear that. this is the third dealer i've tried. next closest one is an hour away. i know they have lots of cars backed-up but they have no priorities. you get it when they feel like it's your turn. my truck is back in there with the window cable issue. no call yet so who knows how long this will take. oh yeah after 10 days in the shop and 0 calls i finally called them. after 8 replies of "we don't have that truck here sir", they finally said "oh, i think it's done"... "check in tommorow". sure enough it was done. it probably sat for three days ready to go and nobody called me.

Good point! It also doesn't help when the dealership monkeys blow up your stereo. Yeah that was a $287 lesson. When I confronted my salesman and my ex-friend now he denied the whole thing.

i had a 2000 excursion that every time i hit a bump the stereo would cut out. took it to the dealer and it turns out a nickle had wedged between the wires causing an arc. instead of calling me so i could try to get it out they charged me $380.00 for labor. in that case a nickle cost me almost $400.00!! lol
