Well, its dry out- the truck was a mess, so 7am came around, rushed to the local carwash and bucket washed my baby before the manager got there to tell me no bucket washing. here it is, all NXT'd up, and heavy metal'd on the pipes- enjoy!

sooo its 8:45 pm- run out to the truck to get my camera for something- and its pouring. my freshly scrubbed, waxed truck- snap!

 

Know how you feel. Washed, dried, and detalied my truck yesterday after work and about 11pm last night a line of T-Storms moved through the area. Now its covered with tree pollen and water spots. At least the inside is still spotless.

Looks awesome. What exactly is bucket washing? You bring your own bucket and sponge and use the soap / sprayer of the carwash stall? I've always wondered, if that's the definition of a bucket wash, why they'd be against that...

 

Those tires look good on there. What size are they by the way? Just some critiscm I think your truck would look even better with the side steps pulled off. I'm just big on not having side steps. Ford offered me some free with my A plan and i turned them down.

 

Every time I wash my truck(s) something bad happens within hours. Like Monday when I washed my truck, it got egged at work (windshield mainly, fortunately) Tuesday evening. The weatherman can also predict rain for the next day by when I wash my truck(s).

 

I never noticed but the plastic bumper steps (on top of the rear bumper) are different than the Lariats I believe. I knew yours had to be an 05+, I've never seen an 04 with paint that good! Looks great Balog!

 

Bucket washing is when you bring your own cleaning supplies, pull into a stall, and proceed to wash your truck by hand. Without putting coins into the system you are simply taking up a stall that a paying customer could be using. The reason why these businesses are against this practice is because people take this way to far and spend hours handwashing their vehicles during a busy time like Saturday/ Sunday morinings (peak car cleaning time).
