What's the difference - 05 to 06?

Hello, I'm new here and this has probably asked before but I really could not nail in down in the search.
OK....Just traded in my 03 Ford F-150 sport for a 06 STX. I was just trying to find out what they have changed between the 05 and 06's.
To the untrained eye the 04,05, and 06's all look the same exterior wise I was just hoping any of the experts here could tell me the difference in mine for the other 04 and 05's
BTW I live in Texas so it's just a 2 wheel drive Supercab.
Thanks in advance

Big thing is the front bumper, 06 has round fogs and a different size opening so the 04/05 lower bumper grilles do not fit. Also I believe the ford emblems are slightly larger. There may be other things but that is all I can think of at the moment.

The 2004's (XLT)came standard with;
Overhead bin storage (now offered as an option)
F-150 logo on the top of the windshield.
Fire blanket under the hood.
Shiney black door trim pieces inbetween the doors. (now flat black).
I believe sound proofing around the transmission.
Ford cut out some of the items as a cost savings measure.

All i can think of is the front bumper. The interior has some different features. Like auto climate control in the FX4's for 2006. Oh ya and rims. The 06's had the option of 20's!

And the '06 STX now has a optional Power package that includes power locks, windows, and mirrors... Saw a few at the dealer today. Wish they had that option when I got my '05 STX last year

Thanks!
I do have the overhead storage (maybe comes with the perferred eqp pkg 503a) and I do notice it still has the F-150 on top of the windshield though.
I see now about the bumper and the round fog lights. Looks just like my wifes '03 Ranger Edge's fog lights.

Yes it does have that. When did they drop the V6 as the standard engine. (Not that I would want it) But they told me it was not avalable in the F-150 truck line anymore

I also have the F150 logo on my 06, and I have a V6 in my 06.

When I was in the market for a truck a couple months ago.I couldn't find any STXs with the optional power package anywhere and I looked at over a dozen STXs.I even asked a couple dealers if they could order an STX with power options and they said it couldn't be done. They were either clueless or more eager to sell what they had on the lot than they were to order me one. Anyhow I gave up and bought an XLT.

I could be wrong, but the last time I was on Ford's website and spec'd out an '06 STX, the power package wasn't even listed as an option. Maybe that's changed, or they just haven't updated the website yet.
If I remember correctly from looking at them today, the power package added about $1200 to the sticker price of the STX.

Do you have a single cab?
Sorry, I sould have been more clear on this. He said if you ordered an STX supercab or bigger the 4.6 comes standerd. If you want I can take a pic of my window sticker if that would help. As for the widows and locks I think it's the power equipment group. lists at 1,280.00
Hope this helps

Yeah, I think the v6 is only standard in a reg cab, a scab would weigh too much to be powered by a v6 (or at least the v6 ford offers). I believe it has been this way since they introduced the new body style.
