Hopefully soon. Im thinking about getting a few other mods as well. If you have seen my gallery there is a 1965 Mustang GT that I am selling and I have a pretty serious buyer on my hands. Hopefully we will make a deal tomarow and then I will get lots of money $$$

Kickass,

What about the Harley D headlights? Being a fellow black truck owner, would you get those?
Maybe just me, but it kinda look dull in comparison to the stock lights.
Too much black maybe?

I dont know. I have been debating that too. If you were going the stealthy look it might look good but Im trying to balance out the chrome and black on my truck. I dont want too much black like you said.

Surprised you didn't run 35s. Truck looks nice though. I wish the shorter beds were out when I got my truck.

Looks very good. Not a fan of pinstripes, but that red stripe does look very good. Question about the add a leaf, why'd you do it? Just curious, did the 2" AS lift the front too much or just personal preference to have the rear a bit higher?

Thanks scorpio -

I decided to go with the add a leaf for some of these reasons...

The wind drag is much less with the rake back in the truck - helping to correct handling at highway speeds plus.

If I loaded the back down too much the truck bulldogged it and I don't like that at all. (I plan to get a boat soon and need the back a little higher)

It was as high as I could lift it and still park in the garage.

I love the look.

Using a 2.0 autospring and add a lead was comparable height wise to the Skyjacker 3" kit but costs MUCH less.

Truck looks great man. I love the way it sits in the back. I'm not a big fan of the level or higher in the front look either. I haul a lot of stuff in the bed and tow quite a bit too and hate when the back sits lower than the front; I think it makes the truck look wimpy. I know a lot of people like it lower in the rear because they want the "Prerunner" look, but a real prerunner truck doesn't even have a floor in the bed and they never tow anything. If you use your bed and the truck starts out lower in the rear that it looks very bad when you actually haul something... IMO.

I don't mean to hijack, but I've been seeing a lot of people w/ the leveling kits say that they provide more lift than they're supposed to. How much actual lift did the 2" AS give you in the front and how much from the SJ AAL in the rear?

He doesn't have Rancho springs. It's a Skyjacker AAL w/ Rancho shocks.

Three questions: What's the round about price for all that? Why didn't you go with 35"? And last, why 2" and not 2.5" autos?

1. Sorry I can't talk price here...
2. 35s are too big on motos 951s with only an AS 2.0"
3. Too crazy CV shaft angles with the 2.5" for me
