Exhaust

I know there are plenty of threads with advice on exhaust systems. I just wanted the advise and feedback from 2004 + model owners. I was looking on Autoanything.com for exhaust and see a couple I am interested in and was wondering which way to go. Is anyone running the Flowmaster American Thunder series? I read the reviews and they seem good. Magnaflow did not have very good reviews. They said there was a lot of cutting and fitting involved. I want something I can slap on there, but with good performance of course. Kind of torn between the Gibson and the Flowmaster dual side. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks.

I've got the gibson supertruck and have no complaints. The flowmaster will probably be louder . The gibson seems to be quiet at idle and at cruising speed. It just depends on what your looking for
Good Luck

I have the Magnaflow 15821 system on my truck which is SISO 3" pipe. The hardest part about the install was the removal of the stock system. Mine fit perfect.

Depends on what you want from a system. I wanted the best performance and the Magnaflow SISO was rated one of the best and doesn't loose any torque like Flowmaster and supposedly your SIDO systems do. Me personally I wouldn't get a Flowmaster. Don't know about the Gibson. Do some searching in this forum, there are tons of post on this same topic.

Flowmaster 40 series on my 04. SIDO, sounds decent but irretating drone on hwy at speeds of 70-80. Lost some of the tourque on the bottom side. When the time comes for a new exhaust i will be switching to something else....probably the stainless magnaflow. Thats my 2 cents.
