I buy a truck for power!! If I want something that gets 27 MPG or higher I would not be looking at a truck! Just build it ford and see how fast you sale them!!

Yeah I agree but you gotta figure by 2011 the price of gas will probably be $5 a gallon. I believe that the technology is there to have power AND mileage but the oil companies and manufacturers won't let this happen.
By the time I'm and old man ( not that far ) I think there won't be much oil left to use. What will we use then? Corn?
The basic combustion engine technology is over 125 years old and although some items have changed its still a crankshaft, rods, pistons, intake and exhaust.
If I could just go to AREA 51 and check out the Alien spacecraft they have there, copy the engine design, I'd be a rich son of a gun!

The price of gas is going to do what it's going to do, but there will always be a need (and want) for more HP. I just wish ford would come on with it!
