Definately not my cup of tea, but that equates to a 32.4 x 12, so no there shouldn't be any issues as long as the backspacing on the wheel is ok.

What backspacing is it?

Yes...

You will have minor rubbing issues at full crank. You'll notice it more in reverse than in drive, but you will notice it, none-the less. You can trim out your inner fender liners with a razor blade, or just adapt to never using a full crank of the wheel. It is minor, and avoiding the rub becomes easy, but you will rub with a 305 24.

We'll see

I hope you're right, but from my personal experience with both 4x4 expeditions, and 4x4 150s, 305s rub on just about any offset offered for our bolt patterns. I've been on 24x10s and as narrow as a 24x9 and they've all rubbed at least a touch.
Remember this though, even if you do rub a tiny bit.... it is not the end of the world. You'll get used to it and learn how to avoid it.

Surprisingly, if you lower the 4x4 after adding the 24s with 305s, you will rub less than at stock height.

I have 305/35s on 24x10s on my stock front height and 2in drop shackle rear 2wd and have no rubbing at all. You should be fine.
