There are like 20 different subs on that link. Can you be a little more specific?

Dude you posted 20 mins ago - try back in a few hours

I'm not positive about which model sub you are asking about anyway. I will say that most on that page are MAYBE mid quality subs - mostly low quality IMHO

Dude all those subs stink, they will blow in like a week. If you want the best stick with anything from JL Audio, they are the best!

I second that. They're not reliable speakers. They sound great when they work, but they blow easily and often.

bigpapa is right about JL Audio. They're awesome speakers... in fact I'd say they may be the best, but they are also very expensive.

Check out Resonant Engineering; I don't remember their web site address, but Google shouldn't have a problem. Another member here, Dupius, has a RE sub and could probably give you more advice.

Good luck!

Mid to high-end Flea Market stuff.

While I love my JLs, I wouldn't say they are the only option. Hell, I've only had JLs (W1s, W0s, and W3s) , so what do I know? I'd like to hear some of the subs people talk about like IDs and REs.

A thump is a thump is a thump. Man you guys overcomplicate things. I had to say it, it's a science that I don't know much about. ;P

I am more for crisp equalized sound, or what they call "EQ" I believe. I love nice clean crisp bass (not car rattling per se), and I've never heard a system better than my Audiophile in my truck (I've heard louder but never clearer) so if there is anything that will blow this out of the water, say a component setup I have yet to hear it. I wish I could have my home theatre system in my truck

Just buy one of these, stick it in the bed of the truck and call it a day
