Exterior temperature display

I have searched around to see if anyone else has a similar problem. I found none.

On my 2004 screw XLT the exterior temp display indicates that the temperature is in Celcuis but the number displayed is clearly in imperial units. For example when driving on friday the weather report on the radio indicated that it was 0c outside but the display indicated 32c which is obviously incorrect but would be correct for degrees F. Can the disply be changed or reset? The truck is going to the dealer this weekend for new tires as a part of my purchase agreement anyhow so I will be asking them to look at it anyhow but I would like to see if there is anything that I can do to fix it.

Any suggestions?

I dunno about an XLT, but on my Lariat there's an option in the message center to change from English to Metric units.

Thanks for the reply, no message centre on the XLT and I saw no way in the manual to change the units.

a shot in the dark, but maybe its in the options when you hold the trip stick down, and turn the ignition on at the same time- could it be in that area?
