Amp install pics..

Well I think it turned out well for a regular cab.. I didnt want to put the amp on the floor behind the seat. And the amp wouldnt fit under the seats so I went this way... It definitely turned out better than I expected..

Nice. How difficult is that to see through the window?

I will be taking my amp and HU out of my other car next week to put into my regular cab. I'm a little paranoid about drilling into my rear panel, but I guess that could always be replaced.

Looks to be behind the rear seats, I'd consider that an extremely safe place considering the owners of our trucks themselves have trouble getting back there.

To me it looks like it's centered on the rear panel. I keep my center seat folded down as an armrest. I feel if I put one there it would be quite visible.

hmmmm thats a good question.. I will have to check that out tomorrow.. Yeah I have a regular cab so I have no back seat.. it is just mounted onto the back panel.. isntall was really easy.. I plan on keeping this truck for a while so drilling holes in the back panel didnt mean much to me...

From what i remember about looking at it... I think it is hidden fairly well from outside. You wont see much of it from the font door windows.. If you look in the back door windows then I am sire you would see it but I plan on tinting my windows this spring... I will take some pics from outside the truck tomorrow...

alright well I just went out and looked and you can see it clearly... My only suggestion is that if you are going to mount it on the back panel then I would mount if further down on the panel and when your not in the truck put the center console up.. I installed my in the middle of the back panel from top-bottom and side-side..

Thanks. I'm still debating where to mount mine. If I mount it lower it might interere my supplies I keep back there. The middle seems like the right place for it though.

well if you want to hide it more then you can mount it on either side instead of the middle. It seems like it would be a bit more concealed if it was put on either side..
