Dual 10W7s up and running!!!! PICS

Well, after some wrinkles to iron out..I got the subs up and running today!

How's it sound? Does "WOW" describe it good enough? LOL All I do when I turn it up is let out a little devilish giggle. I do have to do some more tweaking, but initially it just sounds freakin' amazing! Those 2 10W7s really hit hard!

I still have the JL bar type grilles coming (JL is dragging their feet). I'm also looking for another W7 grille that I've seen from time to time. It is an aluminum cut out of "W7" in the middle and kinda looks like a spider. I heard that a distributor out of Canada called Gemsen had them. I'm waiting for a response from them. If I use the W7 spider ones...they just screw right to the baffle, but if I use the bar type ones...I'm getting a couple pieces of black plexiglass to attach the bars to and fit around the subs (like the JL Prowedge).

Anyway, thanks to everyone and enjoy the pics:

Don't ask me that! LOL I don't want to think about it. Put it this way...I bet my subs and 9.0 cost more than alot of complete system on here.

I hate you . .

PS: Not to hijack the thread, but with 6" of mounting depth, I won't need a seat lift right?

Thats looks sick..

I would love to add 2 10W7's to my truck but I think that would be 2 much for me in a supercab. I am looking at maybe 1 or 2 8W7's. I just have to see if I can fit them under the rear seat with out lifting the seat at all. If I need to lift then maybe I will just go for the 10's.

I know myself and a couple of people had wanted to know about the box measurments. Any word if you want to sell them or what not.

I mentioned to Thumper about doing a mini box like mine for 8W7s. It could maybe be done w/o a seat lift....I don't know. The 8W7s could also be set further underneath the seat to protect them more. Just an idea.

Maybe I ought to design, build and sell them, huh?
