How come there is no FX4 on fender badges?

It might be trivial but on our fender badges where it says F150 it only says 5.4 TRITON below it but on the other models it will have XL,XLT TRITON, LARIET 5.4 TRITON etc.
What we get FX4 OFFROAD stickers and thats the trade off? Am I the only one that ever wondered that? I took my FX4 stickers off but think
FX4 5.4 TRITON on the fender emblems would be kind of nice.

I think they all say Triton.

sport models have stickers (STX, FX4)

Non-sport models (XL, XLT, Lariat) have badges (because oonly sporty vehicles are allowed to have stickers)

I agree, not sure what Ford's logic was behind that. You can though, go to billetbadges.com and have a set made just like what you are referring too. Check it out.

Yeah you can go and pay for something aftermarket that you would think would be on there but I was just curiouss. I ditched the sticker and got the an FX4 emblem and put it on the right side of the tailgate. I like the subtle look and I can still "represent". Cleaner looking on the sides taking off the FX4stickers. Just my two pennies.

Absolutely, and I think what you did is a great idea as well and it's also one of my favorites. Did you install the Expedition FX4 badge? If so would you happen to know the partnumber? I may ditch my V8 Explorer badge that I have now on the tailgate and put the Expedition FX4 one on. I also like the fact that the badge has some red in it as well.

The badge came from a 2003 Expedition with the FX4 package, it was OEM for that year only. I bought mine from www.fordpartsonline.com in march of 05 for $29.00 each, they are probably more by now.
P.S. if you get one for your tailgate, install it 6 3/8" from edge of tailgate to center of badge and it will look balanced with the F150 badge on the other side, and people will think that it was factory installed.

I just ordered it form my local dealer. I paid 47.17, so about 5 clams more but I got it the next day when I went in for my free oil change. You know the first one with the PITA factory installed filter everyone complains about that is one so freakin tight. I will do the changes form now on.
Im thinking about ordering another to put centered on the ashtray. I think it will look decent.

That's what I did..This is a pic before I removed the FX4 decals, just trying to be different, plus I did not feel they went well with my new front end.. I too think it would have looked cool for fx4 on the badge.
