HELP, Removing Hooks on Headliner

HELP, Removing Hooks on Headliner

Help, I can't get those Coat Hangers Hooks off... It has a flip snap cover, I opened it, but no screw in there....I'm get ready to install a Overhead Rail System in my XLT.. I need to remove these 2 hooks....
Anyone know how???

No one on here has ever removed these hooks....

I think the coat hooks just snap into place. I had a loose one from the factory for almost 2 years and was too lazy to get a screw driver and tighten it up, one day i just pushed it up against the ceiling of the truck and it snapped into place.

Use a narrow flat-head scew driver. Flip down the cover, insert the screw driver horizontally. Make sure you are in the center on the two metal clips. Turn the screw driver until it's vertical and pull the coat hook away from the headliner.

There are no screws, just the metal clip.

To re-install, simply push back into place and close the cover ... no screw driver needed.
