This is probably the widest spaced one I've seen, don't know if they sell it w/o the upper though

hmmm that IS the closest match I have seen so far. I would LOVE to get a picture though of that lower grill with an actual harley grill. Or know the spacing difference between that and the hd grill. Looks close though. Do some research for me and let me know!

you mean like this?

find a buddy that wants one too, if you can get a HD grill for cheap still... and hack it up... 2 lowers for each upper.

buy one grill... with the emblem on it, just like you would buy a new one for your truck... take two bars from the top and two from the bottom (theyre held in place on the back by like 6 pieces of steel. hack the steel and measure accordingly on the bars. you get two lower bumper grills from each large (full) one.

edit... tell me about it with the pricing! ouch! if someone wants to buy one i'll be happy to do the alterations if i get to keep one lol

I thought it could be done. I figured just hacking the bottom two bars outta the Flight grille (real name for the HD) would be close. Then again I have the '06 bumper so it could be different than the 04/5. Too bad they cost so much now x3.

The BZX auto grill is the closest thing I've seen to the HD grill. They will list the lower grill seperately if you ask them to.
