$25,998

I paid $25,998 in October for 05 Screw 4x4 XLT Package. It stickered for $36,500. In DFW the rebates were crazy.

I paid $24,000 on 12/31 for an XLT SCrew 4x4. Stickered at $35,500. They wanted to move trucks at year-end, so I took advantage.

You can thank Fords Family Pricing for that...

Well, I decided to take the day off today and go look at trucks. Since the Post Office and banks are closed I couldn't ship anything anyway...so took advantage of the free time.

Drove a Scab FX4 black with black leather. Has running boards, pwr seat, 275/65R18s, tow package. Was quoted $29732, or 29,432 with my farm tax number. Sticker price 37,220, he said that was 300 over invoice less rebates and showed me the invoice(if that's the true invoice.)

Nice truck, I just kind of decided that I don't really need the rear full doors and the 6.5 bed would come in handy. The only thing I didn't like was no reverse sensors but I'll be putting in a backup camera anyway. Also, I thought there MIGHT be some rear end shake, but it was freezing today and it's been sitting a while so it could be tires and ice.

So, does that sound about right?

J

back at the end of the 04 model year my boss bought the pickup that i own now and he got the real family plan with all the rebates (his uncle is his sales man) before the big deal where everyone could get the family plan. he gave just under $30000 for an 04 4x4 screw lariat. since then hes traded it on an 05 and i bought the lariat for 22000 we did an in and out on it so i gave what they gave him on trade with 30000 miles on it
