Oh yeah, after those dirty pictures i gave her a good cleaning. I had that salt corrosion on alot of my chrome. The bed rails took some polishing as well as the tips. Stainless steel or not, they still get that crap on it. This picture is after i had it waxed...

I think your handles match your truck with the bed rails and side steps.

Either way, anything looks better than the black plastic stock handles.

trytokeepup,

Man that is one dirty truck!

Red,

How are your rims doing? I mean, do you have any pitting?
If not how do you keep them from pitting?
My 18 inch stock chrome rims already have some pitting going on. I've already had to take some chrome polish to them. Clean's them right up, but now 2 weeks later, I see its back.
I think its a combination of road salt and the brake dust.
Just wondering if you have any secrets?

Thanks

My wheels are still fine. Everytime I was the truck I usually apply a coat of wax to the wheels.

However my lugnuts are shot. They are rusting bad.

Well, we get snow and I use my four wheel drive maybe 2 or 3 times a year because of it. What does someone in Florida do with 4X4?

Not talking to you. Quite obvious you go offroading. But you're one of the minority. Most people that have a 4X4 don't go off the pavement, myself included. So what's the point in having 4X4 where there's no snow and you don't go offroading? Just curious since Tardman's pushing the point that he gets no snow, yet he has a 4X4.

I rather have my truck covered in dirt then salt. Unfortunitly they salt the hell out of the roads when we get snow so I have a little car to get back and forth then the roads are salted.
