So I keep looking at bull bars. I really like the Westin and the other brand on ebay with the "F150" cut into it - goes for about $270.

But here is my dilemma. My truck is white with tan trim and I have black nerf-style running boards. I think a chrome bull bar would look alot better than a black bull bar on my truck, but then it wouldn't match the running boards.

I thought about removing the running boards, but I actually use them and I don't like how chrome running boards would look on my truck.

My other thought was having the running boards and bull bar either painted to match the tan trim, or covered in color matched Line-X to match the tan trim. Does anyone know what Line-X would cost for the boards and the bar? (There used to be a white/tan Explorer in town with a tan brush guard and it looked really clean!)

Any other thoughts from you guys?

 

There is one guy on here that had his bullbar line-xed red to match his truck. It looked good.
