Got my new tires... Cooper STT's

I just got my tires today. 285/70/17 cooper stt's. I like them alot. :rocker: They have very little road noise also.

That looks hot. Much better than the nitto terra grapllers. Ive been looking at the bfg mud, but definately like those how are they on the road?

The old STT tread design seemed a little more aggressive, now they're almost replica's of the Open Country's (excluding sidewall biters).

Those are SWEET! Do they make them in 18"????

Thanks for posting the pics.

Looks good.

I would check here to make sure those coopers aren't a part of the 200,000+ tires that were recalled.

Thanks for all the compliments guys...

2005fx4 what do you mean how are they on the road? noise? handeling? they have hardly any noise and i dont do any aggressive turns when driving so i dunno about the handling. So far they are nice. Im just ready to find some mud.

I wish I would have got the 35s but I cant justify $1000 for some tires right now.

What did they cost for the 285s, if you dont mind me asking?

I got them for 186/tire because he had bought that set and had it in stock before the price went up. I was quoted around $212 everywhere else in town.

Do those have a steel sidewall like the BFG KO's?

freekyFX4 Feb 14, 2006 08:41 PM

I like them. Cooper makes some great tires...and they own Mickey Thompson now too. They remind me of my Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's.

Congrats. They look very good.

I'd like to see them compared to the Toyo Open Country M/Ts in durability, tire life, and offroad performance. ;)
