Help me pick seats

About to pull the trigger on an 06 S-crew XLT 2wd

Trying to decide which seats to get, got 2 questions:

First off, do I want the standard grey interior or the "two-tone" grey? I went by the dealer and no one could tell me or show me the difference. Anyone got pics of both to compare?

Second, are the captains chairs w/center console worth it? The bench seat with fold down armrest has a lot bigger storage compartment than the one in my 2002 ford. I like the captains chairs but I'm worried the console is TOO big and would be hard to keep organized. Currently in my 02 F150 I put my CD case under the fold down armrest and papers, pens etc in the console. I'm worried all that stuff would be lost in that huge console. Does anyone make an organizer for it? Let me know your thoughts on whether or not to get this option

You want the two-tone seating. That was one of the many aspects why i got my truck. Don't get the 40/20/40 if you are getting a SCrew.

Is this picture the two tone or the standard interior?

I have an '05 screw with the 2-tone interior and the captains chairs. Trust me, that is what you want. I have a few pictures of the interior. They're not the best, but you get the idea.

There's an idea of how the console fits.

Here you can see the 2-tone seats and the console some.

The center is really big, but it's nice. To keep mine organized I went to Wal-Mart and got one of those plastic trays that are designed for a desk drawer. It fits perfect and has compartments for all my stuff.

Wow, I never saw the seat colors reversed like that. That must stain like a ****. I'd definitely stick with the dark flint 2-tone.

That's the problem I am having. The ones on the dealers lot all say "two-tone" but some have the darker bolsters and some have the real light colored bolsters. I'd prefer the dark ones yours. I guess I'll go with med/dark flint cloth two-tone, hopefully that's the right one

I personally ordered my SCREW with the 40/20/40 2-tone for the extra seating. Same front seats as the consoled option, but I can now carry six people which I have done 4 times now in the last 2 months. It works out for me. All in what you need. For clean looks though, the flow through console takes it hands down...

I dont have two tone, but my tan cloth stains somewhat easy, but cleans easily with oxyclean depending on what is spilled... I am planning on camo seatcover for the back so the dogs can slobber all they want...

LoL... I am coming from a 98 ranger reg cab and 2000 ranger supercab 4x4, the 2000 had adjustable lumbar support in the captains. I think my truck is SOOOO much more comfortable... so does the nephew and bro in law that i forced in the back of the supercab!!! LMAO!!!

Personal preference of course, but I like the captain chairs in leather. Teh center console islarge, but case logic and others make cordura pieces that canbe used for organizing, as can tackle boxes etc.

The seats are the same with the captains chairs or the 40-20-40, its only the center that's different, console or 20% seat. I just ordered my 06 XLT SC yesterday and I wish you could get the Lariat type console as I would have definitely gone that way. I opted for the 40-20-40 just for the extra seating and to save the $300.
Does the tan stain easily? I have tan in the wifes New Beetle and its the worst upholstery I have ever seen, even water stains it. Does Scotchgard or similar products help or hurt?

Dark Flint two-tone all the way!

Anyone else notice Ford ditched the lighter grey in the middle of the back seat for '05+?
