I highly doubt that it was the edge. I think it was just a valve aslo. My cousin is a mechanic and he told me that the edge if anything would lengthen my tranny's life because of the boosted pressure of the line. He said the firmer it shifts the less time the tranny has to slip, which makes perfect sense why the edges shifts could not have ruined it. He said that it would be most likely just a hung valve so no i aint gonna get rid of my edge. I am going to put it right back in after i get my truck back from the dealer.

Everyone cousin is a mechanic, or at leasts thinks they are one.
The edge does more than just raise line pressure in the tranny. If i had an ignorant person of the day award, i would clearly see the winner by a mile.
