Can EDGE help with running lean?

I did a search, but didn't find anything helpful. If I purchase a CAI and it throws a CEL telling me that the truck is running to lean, can the Evolution correct that problem? Will setting up the WOT higher than the default (1.50) fix it or help? It seems like my truck is starving for air!

There are several CAI out there and at this point I'm not sure which one I want, and I realize that each truck reacts slightly different. I know some guys are running an intake with the egde with no issues. Hopefully somebody has some suggestions.

Thanks!

Running lean means it's starving for fuel.

Right.

So adding more fuel at WOT should help right? maybe to 1.80?

More fuel at Wide open throttle will do just that. Give you more fuel at wot. If you could give it more fuel all the time then yes it would help. But if it's not adjustable for the entire rpm range then i would have to say no.

What did you have it set at WOT before? 1.8 seems like a lot. I've got mine set at 1.5 and I've never had a problem.

I don't have a CAI yet. I currently have my level 3 at 1.8 with no CEL. I don't know if I should take a chance and get an intake.

Honestly, if your going to be putting on a intake. I'd back the WOT fuel down a little and than bump it up, just to be on the safe side.

Thanks Thump...........like I said It feels like the truck just wants more air. I guess I'll give it a shot and if it throws a CEL then i'll turn to e-bay or the classifieds. I'm not sure how I can fix it if I get the CEL, but I guess when I get to that bridge i'll cross it.

If your truck feels like it wants more air then back off your wot fuel!
