17's or 18's???
Torn between getting Motto Metal 951 in 17's or 18's
17x9 with Goodyear MTR 34x12.50x17's 18x9 with Toyo MT 33x12.50x18's Opinions needed advantage with 17's is more tire wall advantage with 18's is more sparkle HELP!! |
Warning!
I would stick to the 18s just to be safe. You have a 2005 model, which should have the larger brake setup...
The 18s will clear the brakes, no problem. |
do the 18"s the wheels will look 10x better and the toyos are better tire then the mt/r's imo, i had a set of mt/r's on my tahoe and they did not last long at all!

Go with the 17's, there are more/better tire choices for them.

I have Eagle Alloy 17's now and I know the 951's will fit because here they are

I'd go with the 18's. First, Ford changed the brake calipers during the 05 model year, which is causing fitment problems with SOME aftermarket 17 inch wheels. Also, you have a wider selection of 18 inch tires.

My vote is 17s all the way, baby!!! More tire choices for the future when you want to go different route.
