add a leaf??

im thinking of putting add a leafs on my truck. i have the 2 1/2" autospring. i like it level, but i cant stand how it looks with a trailer on, or a bunch of stuff in the back. how much will add a leafs lift it? id be ok with an inch or so, not more than 1 1/2 though. anyone do this? pics?

1 1/2 sounds just about right with most add-a-leafs. I had one on my Ranger.

I think there are many different heights you can achieve with an add-a-leaf, but most are between 1 and 2 1/2 inches.
And rear air bags would cost A LOT more than a simple add-a-leaf.

My Skyjacker rear add-a-leaf added almost exactly 2 inches.

I did the rear leafs in about an hour with no air tools. I found it very easy being the first time I've ever done it.

Here is THE solution... www.activesuspension.com

Fully height adjustable. makes the truck handle better and easy to install.

I have been using this product for over 5 years and 3 different trucks
and "add-a-leafs" don't even come close! I have criss-crossed the country pulling loaded car haulers and this system works the best of anything I have ever tried.

Here is a pic of my Roadmaster equipped 2001 Screw with 6000 lb trailer load and with the bed fully loaded with auto parts and 4 people's luggage...
