Clean Truck; Pics!

I used some #7 Maguires Polish, followed by a coat of NXT and a coat of #26 Mag's. ALso rotated the tires... for some reason, the rears wear out faster than the fronts.

The very first pic, the truck was still dirty.... the pic with the tires off...

Every pic after that, It was clean.

The pic of the rear brake rotor was just to show the size of the rotor... they are large.

The pic of the tires off was at my father's house. His driveway is very level.

All other pics were at my mom's house. I came into town this weekend to visit my family... Since I dont have a garage at my house and I live out of town, I took advantage of their's.. lo

Thanks Rock. The truck isn't all the way clean... Just the paint. I didnt clean the windows/bumpers/wheel wells/ underside/ engine, or interior..... just paint.

Both the polish and wax was easy on and easy off.

I got a rotary, dual action buffer for christmas... not Porter Cable... and this was a good chance to try it out...

It was GREAT for applying product, but not so good about taking it off.

Mag's NXT wax (PUrple container) is a good synthetic wax.. the #26 is a good carnuba wax.... Synthetic last longer, but carnuba looks better.. IMO.

Look in the "General care & Detailing" forum for everything you want to know about keeping that truck clean.

You must have some nice crooks in your neck of the woods, to put the truck on jack stands. Here in the D, they just drop that SOB on the ground as soon as the rim is off.
