Is that a custom HID setup or is it a kit. I am guessing it's not a true HID setup with the HID housing (etc etc) for that cheap. Lighting is not my cup of tea so fill me in
I just want to buy some $100 HID's somewhere, I just want some brighter and whiter bulbs (I see sylvania won't make them).

I took the Leds out of a sho-me set of strobes Model 11.1005sf (I used this due that I had on a box sitting on a storage, the LED bar messures around 3 inches and had 2 lanes of leds. I made a cut on the houseing big enough to get it in. With double side tape I got it in place and just connected positive and negative on the factory harness. You dont have to get this specific unit, but with any led bar small enough to make it fit into the harness should do the trick.
Is the HID kit a single low beam or do you have both hi and lo functionality. I'm looking to convert to HIDs but I want hi and lo. Did you have to do anything besides plug and play with the HID kit

I only have the regular HID with no high beams, but I know that they do sell the hi and low HIDs the owner of the store where I got mine he just got one of this kits for his truck, the only diffrent thing is that the bulb moves back and foward, when moved foward the light beams move higher giving you the brighter look. He did mention that the kit will cost almost $200.00 more than the standar kit. That will come out to $550.00 installed. (In order to install this kit you need at least 2 to 3 inches of clerance behind you housing due to the way this bulb is build It might not fit on the right hand side headlamp of the f150 due to the limited space.
I appreciate the response. I have also seen a hi/lo kit for H13 but I dont know how that bulb works yet. I believe in its description they say no moving parts but I'm still waiting from an e-mail response from the company. Do you mind me asking where you got your kit from if it was from the net or local to you?
