ok thanks... I just thought maybe there was a piece of carpet missing or a piece of plastic to cover bottom of dash .

Mine has WAY more extending carpet and i dont have the surface rust on the metal like you ...

Is that an XL without carpet? I have seen rust on some of my GM's, but that is nothing I like to see. I guess it is not that bad with only surface rust. It looks normal to me though if it is an XL.

Think he's got an FX there. My XLT has carpet all the way up over that padding. If it were an XL or STX I could see that maybe being normal.

Negative, thats gotta be an STX, or XL. The FX4 has carpet, usually black carpet, not plastic floor covering. Unless you order it with the factory carpet delete, which makes no sense as to why you would do that. I'll check a truck at work tomorrow.

I drove an xl service loaner a few days last year and I am pretty sure it looked the same as that.

it is a 2005 f150 fx4 supercab brand new when piture was taken ... can someone please post a pic of what it supose to look like so i can go to the dealership and rise H E double hockey stick... I had nothing but problems with the dealership just another thing to add to the list

Wow, I wish I was not on travel, I would. That does not look right.
