So, I just got home from the San Diego International Car Show. Just all the manufacturers showing off their 2006 car line.

Well, I saw a silver LT. The first time I've seen one up close and personal (first time I really cared to). I was wondering if the fender flares of the LT will fit our trucks? Now, I know the LT door handle buckets come painted and everyone has been snatching those up like hot cakes. Well, I wonder if the fender flares come painted as well and would fit our truck. Does anyone know? It looks like they would.

 

as far as i know they do not come painted, they are PTM. last time i checked was about a year ago though, they may have added painted part numbers by now

 

Aren't the fender flares the on the LT the same as the ones on a Lariat? If so you will have to drill holes in your fender to install them...or at least to install them the way they are designed to be installed.

Edit...I see you have a FX4 so you should already have the holes there.

 

I always wanted to paint my grey ones to match and I figured I'd just sand them down and paint em but I guess it would be a lot easier to order some Lariat "smooth" ones and get them painted.

 

And if you can get yours off without breaking the tabs you can sell your FX4 flares and get some of the cost for the new ones back.
