What r u guys getting your 06 FX4's for?

I'm new to this forum and it's great! I searched for this topic but couldn't really find and info on it. I am interested in a 2006 Super Crew FX4 with the black leather and some other options, MSRP about $39,000. I was wondering what kind of discounts off of MSRP people are getting preferably in the SoCal region? www.carsdirect.com showed a discount of approximately $7500 off MSRP. I probably won't actually make a purchase until early Feb. Also, what kind of financing is Ford MoCo giving?

Thanks in advance for any info!!!!!!

Sticker on my 2006 Super Crew FX4 that I bought 2 weeks ago was $39,595.
Z-Plan discount was ~$4,500, total Ford rebates $3,500, and a one time Z-Plan incentive rebate of $1,000. The Ford rebates ($3,500 on 2006's and $4,500 on 2005's) expire on 1-03-06. I traded in my 2003 Screw for $19,000. I was not looking for a truck at the time, just cruising the lot, but the deal was too good to pass up.

Just as a note, I work at a dealership. If you were my customer, I'd just give you a fleet type deal anyway. Usually a flat amount over invoice, less incentives. Ford Credit has 6.99% for up to 72 months for Tier 1, 7.49% for up to 72 months for Tier 2, and 7.99% for up to 72 months for Tier 2. Rates and financing programs all depend on where your credit score is. IMO, go with a credit union because if you have a 700+ score, you can usually get 5.25 or something similar. I do rates and quotes all day long, I'm the guy to ask.

I just bought my FX4 last week. Sticker was $38,100, paid $32,000. This is with X-plan pricing. This is a fully loaded FX4 minus the rear sensing, heated leather seats, and a couple other minor things I can't think of. Ford dealers are hurting for sales and they will probably give you a good deal on a new FX4 like they did for me.

It was during employee pricing. I had to walk away from the dealer empty handed 2 times. The first time they wanted 31,500 for the truck and I said nope and left. The second time I got it down to 29,050 and they wouldn't give me what I wanted for my trade in, so I left again. They called me 3 days later and said we are washing your truck come bring us your car.

I worked at a dealership and you just have to play games with them. I told the guy up front I know the game and don't want to play it. The sales manager wanted to make me play the game to get the sale.

Thanks for the reply. Not to brag, but my credit score is probably near the 750-800 range so I was hoping for a better rate. I am surprised that Ford does not have better rates with GM doing the 0% for 72 months. It makes a big deal from 0% to around 6-7%. That would be a deal breaker. Does or can Ford be negotiable on interest rates?
Thanks for your info!

Depends on what you're buying. Some vehicles come with a built in "incentivized" rate for Tier 0 or Tier 1 credit customers. For instance, the normal interest rate for Tier 2 is 7.99 with Ford. My sister leased an Escape yesterday, and she got 4.5% for the same Tier 2 loan. Thats what I mean by an incentivized rate. What are you looking at buying? Maybe I can work something up for you, if you can provide me with a VIN?

37K? LMFAO!

Sticker on my Lariat was only 38/39K but I stole it for $27K.

I bought my 04 FX4 SCAB in November of 04 with 3500 miles on it for $22,500. At that time, it booked a little over $30,000.
