Why'd you get rid of the Volant?

Thump,
I didn't like the fit and I just didn't like the sound of it (too loud). Also, I didn't notice any performace gain with it other than a little bit better throttle response, so I replaced it with the Airaid MIT.

Soundguy,

>Really? For who?

For a couple of my Audio Video companies, "Perfection Lighting & Sound" and "Multimedia Innovations". Over a 10 year period we did about 200 Pro A/V installs (not home stuff). Some big, largest A/V budget was $3 million for an Olympic venue, and some small, only $25k for a strip club :-(

If you are in Atlanta almost any club (strip club, night club, or music venue) you go into probably still has some of my work. I retired from this in 95.

>Earth Wind & Fire concert in Atlanta last week.

Cool, one of my favorites, unfortunately the last time I saw them was at Chastian Park (before Philip Bailey returned) and I was not impressed.

>The factory sound system has a distortion problem at moderate volumes.

If you are speaking from experiance with a a factory Audiophile system in your 04, then something must have changed with 05, because my system is crystal clear with no distortion even at "ear hurting levels" .. AND it sounds nothing like a Bose system, plenty of highs and TONS of lows ( I used to sell Bose systems for church systems because they wanted more mids than high/lows).

Seriously, try listening to an 05 or 06 Audiophile system (the one with the sub) and see if you notice a diference.

Clearly he doesnt' even know what they were talking about, it's just getting stupid now. I'm assuming he's calling bs on the throttle body comment. However, I'm willing to believe yellow over thump because unlike thump, bigyellow has it installed. No offense thump.

Nope, your wrong but you can take another shot at it. If not, I'll give it to you.

PS: Hey yellow, do you still have the throttle body installed?

ooh ooh, I know, you don't think he has it because of his possible fabricated posts (i.e. $12k stereo, etc).
