TX-FX-4 Finally Posting Some Pics

https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=6884

Here are some pics of my truck for those that had requested them earlier. I'm still in the process of getting some better pics and fixing her up. There are before and after from the leveling kit and the tires to 33's. I will also try to get some pictures of the RIDE_RITE air bag set-up I have on the rear to help with payload and towing. Hope you fellas like.

Did that heavy duty front bumper lower the front end of the truck back down because it's heavier? Looks like it has more of a rake in the picture after it's installed, as opposed to before the bumper.
Looks sweet!

Man, when they saw everything is bigger in Texas, they weren't kidding. That bumper is BIG, I bet you could mow down Hummers with that thing and not even scratch it!!

After looking at the full frontal view in your gallery...

...I would imagine everything gets out of your way when you come up behind them :-)

Great looking truck!

But what is up with Texas and big a$$ bumper/brush guards? lol My best friend just bought a F-250 powerstroke and that was the 1st thing he bought for it.

Man, I miss Texas. I grew up there.

Thanks for the compliments. I wanted a rugged look with good protection upfront and in the rear. the winch alone is about 98 pounds. I believe the bumper is about 325? I'm not really sure the manufacturer told me once and I know the front came down even with the leveling kit. The side lugs of my tires rub on the back of the fender well on turns. Probably due to the -24 offset and dip in the truck due to bumper weight. I definitely feel like I could plow something down without worrying too much. I am trying to find some stronger springs for the front to compensate for the weight. I like the extra clearance on the sides up front. I went to a local 4wheeling spot and I was extremely impressed with how the truck performed in the mud and hills. I never got stuck in the clay type mud. My wife was freakin' out and couldn't believe what these trucks could do(her first experience ) it took about 3 hours to clean the truck which was not so much fun after all and there is still mud all over the undercarriage. I haven't seen the engine bay yet but it may not look so good. Anyway, the pictures are right after this weekends mud dive. Thanks for the compliments.

I've had several close calls with deer driving through hill country. Taken out a couple of possum, and racoon(not intentionaly. Had some beef jerky i found on the fender and door when I was washing: don't know what that was from. That could be a reason for good protection upfront. or maybe those ricer civics getting in the way. just kidding, no offense

Im curious to see that bumper on a lifted truck. By the way, great looking rig.

I got the winch from www.discountwinches.com for $915.00 shipped. They advertise a higher price but will beat any shipped advertised price on the net. The bumper was about $2150.00 Installed with custom paint. From www.reunel.com I know that it was expensive, believe me when I say that my wife was not excited about anything; but since they are the only dealer in the U.S. and they happen to be 60 miles from where I am currently living and install was included with the price; I wanted to get it done before we left the state. Also the bumper must be taken off to install the winch. They used a forklift to hold it in place(after all it is their product) and they know how it is meant to be aligned and bolted on. I saw other options online but was not impressed. Yes I could have had cheaper but the quality and the protection was worth it to me. Thanks.

Now thats how an FX4 should be....actually off-road. Not sparkling in the sun in a paved driveway wearing 20"+ rims and street tires. Congrats on having your truck and using it to. Feels damn good dont it?
