No problem, one last question, are the tips of the harness flat, round or a blade?

Chris, I am also interested in the power mirror add-on. I have ordered the driver side mirror and an expedition switch. I expect to order the passenger side in a week or so. I was wondering if you acquired any wiring info that could make this easier to hook up. I was kind of hoping for a "your pain, my gain", kinda deal.

Is a link to my thread I posted after the install.

Are you using the XLT mirrors? Or are they more elaborate?

The XLT only use 4 pins, in a row, on the switch. They are almost precisely the size of a floppy drive Molex connector.
The two center wires are the ones you connect to the yellow common wire. The two outer wires control the up/down in/out.
Seven wires to the switch.
One power wire, one ground wire.
One yellow wire that goes to both sides, two center pins on each side. Then the two outer pins send one wire each to the switch.
That means you only have to run three wires across the cab and into the passenger door.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.
Chris
