My Bullet Proof Tires Aren't
My bullet proof tires aren't nail proof. After only 1000 miles on my Goodyear Silent Armor Tires with the kevlar belt I found a nail buried up in my left rear. Good news is, it was in there a week before I got around to pulling it out and it didn't leak any air. Bad news is, it leaked like crazy when I pulled it out.
I'll bet they're not even bullet proof either. |
Have a screw in my factory tires, gonna stay there till it starts losing air!

Kevlar adds to impact resistance and makes the tires quiter... it doesn't make it nail-proof or bullet-proof... I hope that was sarcasm.
I disagree with leaving a nail in a tire "until it starts to leak." Chances are, it will start to leak at the most inopportune time. Get that thing patched from the inside ASAP... |

you want to hear something funny, a deflated steel belted radial, is bullet proof to some degree i put a bunch of rounds threw my stock spare and i found that it stoped 22 cal and 38 semi jacketed and 357 wadcutters it also stopped 45 longcolts lead rounds, it was pretty empressive, only after it was deflated tho

It was sarcasm. I sure was hoping to get more 1000 miles on 'em before I had to have it broken down and plugged
